Trinity District Pinewood DerbyRace your derby car against other Scouts and the cars they made.  See all the cool looking cars that other Scouts and your friends made.

$5.00 entry fee per Scout

Trophies will be handed out for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!!  Each RANK (Tiger’s, Wolf’s, Bear’s, and Webelos’s) will be awarded a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place TROPHIES.

The 1st and 2nd place winners of each rank will be in a race off for the TOP 1st, 2nd and 3rd place TROPHIES.

There will be other awards to be handed out and they are voted on by the Scouts for the following categoreis such as:

  • Most Likely Made by a Scout
  • Best Paint Job
  • Most Unusual
  • Best of Show

Class “A” Uniforms must be worn!

*Please follow BSA Rules and Guidelines
** REMEMBER: Car CANNOT be over 5 oz and has to be a BSA car

And YES Mom and Dad – Siblings will be able to race their cars also.

Times:

Check-in: 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Judging: 9:30 a.m.
Start time: 10:00 a.m. (or earlier)

Cubs will race 4 times; best times win.
Adults & siblings will race after.

Trinity District Baloo Training

BALOO TRAINING

BALOO TRAINING (Classroom) Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation is a one-day training event that introduces den leaders, Cub Masters, other pack leaders, and parents to the skills needed to plan and conduct pack outdoor activities, particularly pack camping.

Participants who complete this training course will:

  • Understand the focus of the Cub Scout level of the BSA outdoor program.
  • Gain the skills needed to plan and carry out a successful Cub Scout-level overnight activity.
  • Learn more about the resources available from the BSA for carrying out this activity.
  • This training is required for any adult who is in charge of planning a pack campout.
