Boy Scout Camporee April 12-14

“Back to Basics”

   

Check in Friday from 5pm-8pm.

Competitions on Saturday and Check-out by 11am on Sunday.

Breakfast for Saturday and Sunday and Lunch provided.

Dinner by provided by troops. – Dinners will be a competition.

A 2013 Camporee patch provided to every registered individual.

 

Where: Camp Urland

 

How Much: $10 per youth, $5 per adult

Fees due by April 4^th. No refunds or transfers after April 4^th. Make checks payable to: TRC-BSA

Online registration by youth and then by adults, available at www.3riversbsa.org with a nominal fee.

 

Additional information will be sent to the registration email. If you can volunteer we can use the assistance. 

A glimpse: Competitions are run and coordinated by the Camporee committee. Each Participant will be governed by the Scout Oath and Scout Law . Friday evening SPL & SM meeting to go over details. Saturday competitions includes and potentially includes: shooting sports, knots, first aid, cooking, lashings, map and compass, campsite inspection, a small assigned service project, dutch oven desserts and much more. Sunday we will have a Scouts Own Service. Medicals records maintenance (BSA Medicals Forms A & B) and basic first aid will be the responsibility of each troop for their own unit. Campsites will be assigned by the camporee committee. There will be an emphasis on the troop and patrols being boy run. Patrol size must be 4 to 8 boys. If you don’t have 4 boys we can combine you with another small patrol.  

Volunteers are needed to help make this happen.
