The 2017 National Scout Jamboree will be Wednesday, July 19, through Friday, July 28, 2017, at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve.

Travel to and return from the site is approximately two days and will include historical tours. We are please to announce that World Strides will provide the bus tours again for the 2017 Jamboree.

The Three Rivers Council jamboree contingent will travel to Washington, D.C., and other points of historic interest. While in Washington, D.C., ample time will be allowed to tour the Smithsonian Institution, the White House, and many of the federal offices.

The jamboree is open to all who are qualified. There will be a selection process. After our troop has been filled, a stand-by list of alternates will be established. Scouts will be assigned to a jamboree troop consisting of 36 Scouts and four adult leaders. You will be a member of a patrol within the troop. The council contingent will consist of one (1) troop. Stand-by alternates will be required to follow the payment schedule set by the Jamboree Committee. Stand-by alternates, who miss a scheduled payment, will be
moved to the bottom of the stand-by list.
